USES
This fruit has a surprising number of phytonutrients, vitamins, and minerals. They are rich in antioxidants, vitamin C, polyunsaturated fatty acids, carotene, and proteins. They also have zero complex carbohydrates and thiamine that assist in the easy breakdown of food in our system. (ssp group)
CULTIVATION
Dragon fruit plant survives in poor soil conditions and temperature variations. However tropical climate region are best for cultivation. The most common prorogation method in dragon fruit is cutting. Dragon Fruit are relatively easy to grow under good growing conditions and with the right planting material. Dragon Fruit plants will yield their fruit at two years old and be in full production by years. For commercial farming the life expectancy for a Dragon Fruit plant is 20 years.(ssp group)
SPECIES
Dragon fruit plant is actually a climbing cactus and needs support to climb on, usually as the plant becomes mature it forms aerial roots from the branches and find something to climb. So, it is best if you’re growing dragon fruit, find something to support your plant. Dragon fruit is a sub tropical plant, it loves heat and sun but it’s better to plant it in a spot that remains dry and receives only partial sun.

HARVESTING
Harvest dragon fruit when its skin color changes from bright green to red or pink. Its fruit is oval to ovate in shape and 10 to 15 cm long and forms 30 to 50 days after flowering. Pericarp of dragon fruit is rough and scaly and is usually pink in color.
However, there are also red or yellow dragon fruits depending on the variety. The flesh is located in the interior is white and contains black seeds. (ssp group)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF COMPANY
- For 1 Acre plantation the cost of plant is Rs. 70,000 /-, out of which 50% i.e. Rs. 35,000 /- has to be paid before the cultivation and the remaining half after the planting is done. (ssp group)
- The Buy Back Agreement Stamp paper of Rs.100/- has to be stamped by District Court of your area.
- For 10 Acre or more yield the buy Back Agreement Stamp Paper will be of Rs.500/-.
